AM METALLURGIST/MATERIAL SCIENTIST
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will work as engineer and expert on powder metallurgy intended for AM applications.
- Support new metal material development in Additive Manufacturing to assurepart quality and properties meet product
specifications and customer xpectation. - Evaluate results (such as material characteristics and geometric precision)
- Analyse the resulting test data, and document all performed tests in a Test Report, propose new tests and improvements that
will lead to a robust process parameter set. - Characterize microstructure, defects and properties of AM materials.
- Establish material specifications and quality for AM materials.
- Establish procedures for powder recycling (mechanical, chemical, heat etc.).
- Establish material and component post processing techniques, including surface finishing and heat treatments for additively
manufactured components. - Work with the process and application engineers to select and set characterization techniques required to support component
production. - Work with cross-discipline team to define requirements for 3D metal printing process, materials and hardware.
Skills:
- Experience in conducting experimental research.
- Have a hand’s on approach and strong capabilities to problem-solving.
- Contribution to the project management of research projects.
- Writing up new proposals in new challenges and research funding opportunities Experience leading and contributing to multi
disciplinary teams with multiple partners, organizations, and collaborations.
- Engineering background, Computer or Mechanical Engineer and/or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering or Physics.
- Fluency in English: understanding, speaking, writing in project management.
- 1-3 years of experience in process monitoring and data acquisition/processing.
- Analytically strong and systematic problem-solving mentality and strong teaming abilities

AM MECHANICAL ENGINEER
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will work as engineer and expert on AM applications.
- Lead tactical and strategic efforts within a cross-functional Materials & Processes team to support Additive Manufacturing
efforts and hardware improvements and upgrades (in-line monitoring equipment etc.). - Contribute to qualification efforts for metallic Additive Manufacturing processes, materials, equipment (e.g.3D-printers), and
parts. - Lead test campaigns, designing, collecting and analyzing material properties data for in-house produced Additively Manufactured
metallic materials. - Collaborate closely with material/data engineers to implement requirements in all phases of AM couple with robust production
solutions and design for manufacture. - Execute root cause and corrective action efforts for AM builds.
- Analyse the resulting test data, and document all performed tests in a Test Report, propose new tests and improvements that
will lead to a robust process parameter set. - Establish material and component post processing techniques, including surface finishing and heat treatments for additively
manufactured components. - Optimize AM processes to increase throughput and decrease variability.
- Contribute to the development of internal engineering and quality processes to standardize and accelerate material evaluation
and implementation.
Skills:
- Familiar with additive manufacturing and materials research, understanding of data acquisition and analysis concepts, familiarity
with data science, sensor technologies and data acquisition methods. - Hand’s on approach and strong capabilities to problem-solving.

AM MACHINE LEARNING AND OPTIMIZATION RESEARCH ENGINEER
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will work as engineer and expert on AM applications.
- Experience in in-situ process monitoring and closed-loop control techniques regarding part defect detection and prediction and process control to identify predictive and actionable recommendations to optimize part quality and process design.
- Perform and lead data management activities for data driven materials science and additive manufacturing research (access, generate and analyse AM data).
- Associated Data and Decision-making applications related to AM lifecycle: create workflows for collecting, tracking, visualizing and accessing modeling, process, metallurgy, and testing data for additive manufacturing and materials science research.
- Lead tactical and strategic efforts within a cross-functional Materials & Processes team to support Additive Manufacturing efforts and hardware improvements and upgrades (in-line monitoring equipment etc.).
- Experience in at least one of the areas below: Coding (Python, Matlab etc.), data management, machine learning.
- Collaborate closely with material/data engineers to implement requirements in all phases of AM coupled with robust production solutions and design for manufacture: support qualification/validation of novel AM materials, optimize AM parameters, etc.).
